As I may have mentioned before (it’s kinda hard to keep track since I only post every few months), I’m in a symphony orchestra called Delaware County Youth Orchestra (DCYO). I auditioned last spring, and I just barely made it in (last stand ftw!). We had two concerts in the fall (November 22, 2009 and December 6, 2009), and the latter was made into a CD… so I might as well post the recordings here (in case you’re interested).
I’m sure you’ll be able to notice some flaws, but please keep an open mind – this orchestra is comprised of high school students, so there will obviously be some mistakes.
Long time no see, faithful reader(s)! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in months… no motivation, you know? It’s definitely not the first time I’ve written that on here. However, seeing as I just spent $15.75 on a renewal of this domain, I figured I might as well make some sort of attempt to stop being lazy and start blogging again.
So what have I been up to these past few months? Well, aside from school, not much. My teachers have been giving me a shitload of busy work (fail), and that’s occupying a hefty majority of my time. But that’s boring. I’ve been playing lots of violin as well. I’m in three orchestras at the moment, so that’s not exactly surprising. I actually have a recording of one of my concerts in December, which I’ll post later today.
As for my internet life, I’m currently homeless. There isn’t a single community out there that catches my interest – I just want Nintendo-Play back. This means I should have more time to do stuff on here (I suppose). But I think I should first concentrate on getting more than one or two readers.
