I just spent a little bit of time on FreeRice. I got 4,100 more grains, bringing my total to 14,300 grains of rice. I also learned today that there’s an option which allows you to save the number of grains you’ve saved. If I had known that earlier, the counter wouldn’t have reset when Firefox crashed at 10,200 last time. xD

I’ve also added an area to the sidebar specifically for FreeRice totals.

I’m sure most of you have heard of FreeRice by now. If not, check it out. Well tonight I set myself a goal of getting to 10,000 grains of rice. I got there just a few minutes ago.

Reaching my goal of 10,000 grains inspired me to set an even bigger goal: 100,000 grains by September. I’ll be posting updates from time to time telling you how many grains I’ve donated. The official count so far (before Firefox crashed and the counter reset) is…
