So uh… hello thar! I know it’s been ages since my last post, and I’m truly sorry about that. I just haven’t had the motivation to post anything on here.

My summer has been pretty uneventful so far. In fact, the only thing I’ve done that’s worth mentioning is that I went to Stone Harbor last week. I may be going to Six Flags Great Adventure this Friday, too. Aside from this, I’ve spent quite a lot of time at home just lying around and being lazy (which is certainly not a bad thing). Just recently I got Photoshop CS4 and I plan on using that instead of GIMP. I’ll always love GIMP, but I know that Photoshop will help me to improve.

As you can see, the site has a new look (again). The background image was made using Photoshop. I plan on keeping this skin pretty simple.

Alright, I’ve got a lot to cover in this post. Get ready for a wall of text.

Where have I been? Well, I’ve actually been here the whole time. I just haven’t posted in a while because I’m really not as motivated as I used to be with this site. I’ll try to be better about posting at least a few times each week, but I can’t make any guarantees. I have the domain for another ten months, so I’m sure this site will be back full throttle at some point (hopefully soon).

What happened to the new theme? I wasn’t able to get parts of the new theme working, and it resulted in me sort of giving up. I’m usually not one to quit, but it was becoming quite frustrating and I was getting very impatient. Someday I may start working on it again, but for now I’m just going to switch back to the first theme.

Ok, so I guess I’ll do something useful with this post. My good friend Roland showed me a really fun MMO called AdventureQuest Worlds. The game was created by Artix Entertainment. Some of their other games you may be familiar with include AdventureQuest, DragonFable, and MechQuest. I highly recommend getting into this game. The staff update the game constantly and take tons of suggestions from the forums and turn them into a reality.

Ok, so on Sunday I thought that the server was done failing; I was wrong. Perhaps I’m wrong (again), but I think the cPanel update is complete. I’ve been able to connect all day, but I guess anything can happen.

Anyway, I obviously haven’t gotten any work done on the theme since Sunday. I apologize for that. I’ve been extremely busy with school and haven’t been able to find time between homework and downtime to make any progress. Rest assured, this new theme will be completed someday. I currently have some new ideas to get the entry-head working, but we’ll see what happens.

Over the course of the last few days, toadeh.net was probably down about 50% of the time. The reason the site kept going down was that my host was upgrading the cPanel on all free servers. Because of this, I wasn’t able to work on the theme very much, and I haven’t really made any progress since Friday night. I’m hoping to come close to finishing it today.

Ok, so for those of you who didn’t figure out what the picture from a few days meant, I’ll tell you. There’s a new theme coming soon. I’ll be working on putting it on the site tonight and tomorrow. If some stuff on the site looks bad or doesn’t work, please be patient. I really like the new theme, and I think you will too.

In other news, my cat has diabetes. Some of you (Sponty) may remember me making a post about him last May. Well, he tested negative for diabetes back then, but he tested positive earlier today.
